The MediChillTM Tie Chilly Neck Cooler
comprises of two main components, the sleeve and the cooling strip. The sleeve material is Terylene/Polyester. The sleeve includes a magnetic securing device. Do not use magnetic products if you wear a  pacemaker, hearing implant or other electrical or mechanical device. If in doubt please consult your health care professional. Slit fabric to remove magnet if required.
Under no circumstances should the sleeve be microwaved.

The components of the Neck Cooler are all produced from the highest quality materials and meet stringent Australian Standard Regulations and as such pose no adverse effects to health through manufacture or use.

First Aid measures:

Ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly with clean water and seek medical advice if discomfort continues.
Super Absorbent Polymers can be ingested with no adverse effects to health.
Eye Contact:   Flush eyes thoroughly with clean water.
Skin Contact:  Wash with soap and water and rinse thoroughly.
Inhalation:   Remove to a source of fresh air and seek medical advice.

The MediChillTM Ice Pad and the Tie Chilly Neck Cooler cooling strip have three components.

1. Film,
2. Fabric and
3. Super Absorbent Polymer

The pad as constructed contains no dioxins or other dangerous additives and indeed the components have been in widespread use for human contact both internal and external for many years.

COMPONENT 1
Film*
All film material used in the Cooling Strip is suitable for food contact and conform to Australian Standard Regulations AS2070. The film should not create a safety hazard of any type, but if ingested seek medical advice immediately.
*Some Cooling Strips have film both sides and do not contain the following fabric Component 2.

COMPONENT 2
Fabric
The fabric used in Cooling Strip is a Bicomponent Spunbond material manufactured to the highest toxicological and ecological international standards.
The fabric is biodegradable and non toxic, free to skin contact and inhalation consequently does not have any adverse human health hazards however, should discomfort be experienced apply the following First Aid measures.
Eye Contact: In the remote event of eye contact rinse the eye thoroughly in clean water.
Skin Contact: After long and continuous contact with fabric wash with soap and water and rinse thoroughly
Inhalation: In the remote event of inhaling fabric fibres, move to fresh air and seek medical advice.
Ingestion: In the unlikely event of ingesting some fabric, rinse mouth with clean water and seek medical advice.

COMPONENT 3
Super Absorbent Polymer
This ingredient is an approved FDA (Food and Drug Authority) Indirect Food Additive Polymer identified with CAS Number 166164-74-5 ensuring compliance in all categories.
Physical Data
Appearance: White powders
Bulk Density: Approx 0.64
Solubility in water: Swells in water to form a viscous gel
Chemical Type
Cross linked polyacrylamides, sodium polyacrylates and copolymers thereof.
Polyacrylamides are generally recognised as being non-toxic. Their major uses are as flocculants, thickeners and dispersants.

As such, they are cleared throughout the world for use in potable water, in the purification of foodstuffs (eg. clarification of liquors in sugar refining) and in paper-making where paper will be used as food wrapping. The use of polyacrylamides on growing crops is exempt from tolerance levels by the EPA in the USA.

TESTING
Extensive environmental and toxicological testing has been completed on a wide range of micro organisms, fish, earthworms, birds and vegetables with no adverse effects to any of the samples used. These positive results enforce the claim that Super Absorbent Polymer is safe and not toxic to living being as well as being inert to the environment. However, should exposure occur and discomfort be experienced apply the following
